Soft Sculpture ︎

Toys are a major cornerstone of my practice as an artist. I remain to this day interested in the intersectional and emergent technologies involved in toy making and toy design. I love action figures and molded toys, but I’ve always had a deep appreciation for toys made of soft materials. This love has been fostered into the careful design of highly graphic and evocative soft sculpture. The line between toy and puppet is blurred through play and story telling by both audience and author.
